How to Apply for Community Directed Funds

THE COMMUNITY DIRECTED FUNDS (CDF) COMMITTEE HAS NOW ALLOCATED ALL FUNDS TO VARIOUS COMMUNITY PROJECTS; THE APPLICATION PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED. THE CDF COMMITTEE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL LOWER COLUMBIA INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS, AND ENTITIES FOR THEIR INTEREST AND SUPPORT IN THIS PROCESS.

The Community Directed Funds (CDF) Committee has been charged with the responsibility of disbursing up to $600,000.00 in the next two years, funded by the Columbia Basin Trust. The Committee is interested in receiving suggestions and initiatives of a strategic nature from applicants that reside and/or do business in the Lower Columbia Community. The Committee has spent considerable time and resources in the development of the Lower Columbia Priorities Plan (LCPP) and this Plan sets out selection criteria and considerations. If you are interested in making a proposal to the Community Directed Funds Committee, you should review the Priorities Executive Summary and/or the Lower Columbia Priorities Plan and fill out the application below. At this time the Committee is interested only in proposals that involve the top 2 priorities in the Lower Columbia Priorities Plan namely Economic Development & Tourism and Local Governance & Regional Collaboration.

The Committee will entertain proposals that comply with their selection criteria and in submitting your application we request that you do so by addressing the selection criteria specifically, which includes a budget. The CDF Committee looks forward to reviewing any and all applications that are consistent with the criteria. Those proposals that do not comply with the selection criteria and considerations will either be sent back for amendment and/or rejected.
